Buena Boots Woolums' Obituary
Beuna "Boots" Woolums, of Barboursville, WV went to be with the Lord early Monday morning, January 29, 2018. A positive force of nature, she touched the lives of countless people with uplifting text messages, posts, and prayers. She loved her family and lit up with pride as she spoke of them. As an employee of Wilmore Elementary School for many years, she was involved in the lives of countless children. She pushed you, helped you find your way but most of all she loved you in a way only Boots could do. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Woolums and grandchildren Stephen and Stephanie Woolums.
She is survived by her children Stephen and Cindy Woolums, Susan and Jay Swayze; grandchildren Allison and Jacob Rosenkranz, Sarah Woolums, and Amanda Woolums; and great grandson Ben Rosenkranz. Services will be held on Thursday Feb 1, 2018 at Betts and West in Nicholasville, Ky. Visitation from 4-7 with a celebration of life starting at 7pm. Boots loved the Lord, loved her family and her humble, positive uplifting life will be greatly miss. I love you Mom.
