Caleb C. Lawson's Obituary
Caleb C. Lawson, 39, of South Point, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Born on August 6, 1985, in Huntington, WV, he was the son of Karen Lawson and the late Gary Ruben Lawson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Betty and Earl Sheppard; paternal grandparents, Carol and Gary Lawson, and uncle, Ed Sheppard. Caleb always had a smile on his face and would do anything for anybody. He loved to fish and coach the South Point Youth Soccer team. He will always be Kay’s baby and he will be dearly missed. Caleb is survived by his mother, Karen Kay Lawson; brother, Eric (Renee) Lawson; children, Madison and Nick Lawson; nephews, Alizjah and Connor Lawson; best friends, Calvin Robinson and Chris Chapman, and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Caleb’s Life will be held at a later date. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, is assisting the family with arrangements.
