Carl Ray Adkins' Obituary
CARL RAY ADKINS, 70, of Scottown, OH, died Friday, December 6, 2013, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be 11 AM Monday, December 9, 2013, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Salmons officiating. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Carl was born January 11, 1943, in Wayne Co, WV, a son of the late Paul and Gladys Lawson Adkins. He was an avid coon hunter and loved to hunt with all his buddies. He will forever be in our hearts and he will be missed. Carl is survived by his wife, Elsa Dixon Adkins; son, David Adkins; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Mark Wood; grandchildren, Randy (Monica) Gobel, David Adkins, Jr., and Cameron Adkins; brothers, James B., Ray, and Asa Adkins; sister, Dorothy Daggett; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend thanks and love to Butch Adkins. Visitation will be 10 AM to 11 AM Monday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH.
