CARL ANTHONY BATTISTA, 81 passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Ironton, Ohio. He was born on January 22, 1932 in Canton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Edith DiVidio Battista, wife Gail (Juddy) Stover Battista and son Philip Battista. He is survived by four children, Stephen Battista (Linda Gottlieb) and Paula Battista Adkins of Huntington, WV, Edith Battista Landers (Jeff) of Oviedo, Florida and Mary Battista Newman (John) of Ironton, Ohio. He is also survived by six grandchildren Gregory Adkins of Austin, Texas, Jason Hicks of Melbourne, Florida, Daniel Hicks of Ironton, Ohio, Christopher Landers of Ft. Bragg, NC, Bradley Landers and Jaimie Landers of Oviedo, Florida. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and very special friends, John Nichols and Billie Click at Close to Home III in Ironton, OH.
