Carl Thomas Thacker, Sr.'s Obituary
Carl Thomas (Moe) Thacker, Sr. 78, of Glenwood, WV, passed on February 7, 2022, after a long illness at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation, Huntington, WV. He was born February 22, 1943, the son of the late Thomas and Rev. Juanita McQuaid Thacker. He is also preceded in death by son, Jeffery Thomas Thacker, sister, and brother in law Joyce and Robert Onderdonk, a niece, Angela Marie Justus, son-in-law David Wormington, mother in law Elizabeth Tuttle, and brother in law Donald Tuttle. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Tuttle Thacker, of Glenwood, WV; a daughter, Carla Thacker Wormington of Huntington, WV; sons, Daniel Tuttle of Lakeland, FL and Carl Thomas Thacker, Jr of Omaha, NB; and sister, Charlotte Thacker Justus of Chesapeake, OH; his granddaughter Jessica Wormington DeHart (AiJay) who helped in his caregiving along with 9 other grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a great grandchild due in August and lots of nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 Monday, February 14, 2022, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Rev. David Blake officiating. Burial will follow the service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
