Carlos Crozier's Obituary
Carlos Jermaine Crozier, 50, of Huntington, WV, received his wings and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 24, 2022. He was born on December 8, 1971, in Huntington, WV, the son of Freddie Crozier and the late Howard L. Hayes, Sr. Carlos loved his family and community. He was well-known in his community as an activist for the Black Lives Matter movement, helping people register to vote and supplying his community with masks and other essential items during the COVID-19 pandemic. Carlos was also an entrepreneur. He was very proud of his clothing business, Fred's House of Style, and he never missed an opportunity to share his talents with his family and friends. Carlos also enjoyed laughing and joking around and reciting Fred Sanford jokes. There was never a dull moment when he was around, and he will truly be missed, but his memories will be cherished and live on forever.Carlos leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Freddie Crozier-Revels; his stepfather, David Revels; his son, Frederick R. Crozier II; his brother, Thomas TD (Donnice) Crozier; his grandson, Adaiah J. Crozier; his nephews, Justin Burgess and Isaiah Crozier; his nieces, Micah Hines and Tim'Mara Wagoner; his uncles, Tony Crozier-bey and Bishop Wayne (Renee) Crozier; his aunts, Hartince Ethel Crozier-Perfect and Bonnita Johnson; his cousin/brothers, Rodney Payne and Masi Payne; his cousin/sister, Zoe Lopez-Smoot; cousin Marshelle Payne; his special aunt, Kenya Liggins; Mrs.Gloria Spiller, whom he referred to as Aunt Gloria, who played an important part in his life and many cousins and a host of friends who loved him dearly. A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Brother Virgil Johnson officiating.
