He was such a kind and likable person. He always brought a smile to your face. I remember him and Diana being such a help when we first started showing llamas. And his just another brown llama class. He will be missed by many. Prayers for all of you.

My sincerest condolences, love and prayers for the entire Lewis family

Carlyle was such a sweet man who always joked around with me as a kid. He had a great sense of humor and spoke to me every time he saw me. He use to scare me when I was young bc of his facial hair🤣 but as I got older I realized that he was a loving father who really cared about his family. My heart aches for you all and I will miss seeing him at the school picking up his grandkids. May God comfort your entire family through this.

I am saddened by the loss of a genuine friend whose whit & love for his family made him a special guy! Thanks for he memories..til we meet again, peace..

Carlyle and I grew up together in Huntington, WV. We hung out together every chance we got and we were best friends. We had a great group of friends that stuck together through the bad times and the good times. The group was very close knit and we always had each other's back. So, you could always depend on them in times of crisis....no matter what. And, many in that same group meet every year for a reunion after over 50 years of friendship. When Carlyle met Diana, I tried to think of ways to keep him from going over to her house in Proctorville, Ohio. But, no matter how much I tried, Carlyle just kept going over there. I was afraid that I was going to lose my best friend. But, as it turned out, I gained a second best friend, Diana... and then I watched as they started their family and their children grew up....and now their children have children.... What an incredible journey.. I have LOVED every minute of it..... May GOD pour out HIS richest blessings on you, Diana, and your family in the days to come..... By HIS Grace, Charlie

Mom and I are thinking of you and praying for you guys. Fond memories of Carlyle.
