Carmel Lee Walters' Obituary
Carmel Lee Walters, 86, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday October 22, 2024. He was born on October 7, 1938, to the late Betty Agnes White and Ernest Walters. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Aileen Shelton. He was owner of Walters Refuse Service until he retired. He loved camping, flea markets, gun- trading, and spending time with his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, of 67 years, Evelyn Walters; four children, David (Liz) Walters, Beverly Walters, Jennifer (Dan) Walters, and Jeffrey Walters all of Crown City, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Jamie (Tracy), Jason (April), Jeremy (Michelle), Kayla (Homer), Colton, Logan, and Brynleigh; eight great grandchildren, Robbie, Josh, Haven, Hadlee, Ty, Levi (Katie), Brooke, Katie; six great great-grandchildren Jace, Aubrey, Bryar, Jhett, Navy, and Harlan; two brothers Samuel (Kathy) Walters and Bob (Minerva) Walters; and a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday October 26, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Jeremy Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
