Carnetta Simpson Scragg's Obituary
Carnetta Simpson Scragg, Age 95 of Huntington West Virginia, went to be with the Lord Friday June 24th, 2022, at her residence in Miamisburg, Ohio. She was born in Gilbert, West Virginia to the late Frank James Simpson and Elva Pearl (Huff) Simpson. Carnetta is preceded in death by her late husband Conard Scragg and daughter Barbara Southworth along with her three brothers Willard, Wayne and Ireland. She is survived by her granddaughters Kim (Larry) Weaver, Kara Southworth (Mike Johnson) and grandson Kevin Southworth. Her great grandchildren Juleah (Kyle) Sparks, Brandon (Carmen) Weaver, Aaron (Shelby) Southworth, Kyle Southworth, Kameron (Sophie) Southworth, Kennedy Johnson and Gabe Johnson along with 4 great - great grandchildren Emerie, Dawson, Salem and Delilah Southworth.
Carnetta was a long-time member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Huntington and she retired from First Huntington National (Chase) Bank. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service also at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
