Carol Richardson's Obituary
CAROLJOYE RICHARDSON, 91, of Huntington, WV, daughter of the late Clarence Elijah and Iva Jean Harmon Murdock, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Paramount Senior Living. She was born on January 6, 1933, in Ohio. She is survived by her children; Michael (Suzy) Richardson. Peggy (Brian) Shepherd, and Jim Richardson. Grandchildren; Cory (Ami)Richardson, Michelle (JR) Jackson, Steve Maynard, Amanda (Cameron) Wilkinson, Hannah (Luke) Smith, Rachel (Jeff) Filer, Seth Richardson, and Sadie Richardson. Sister-In-Law; Vicky Murdock, and twelve Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Richardson, Grandson; Luke Hawkins, Sister, Eileen Cobb, Brothers; Nole Murdock and Fred Murdock. Carol attended New Baptist Church in Huntington, WV where she sang in the choir. She also taught children's Sunday School for many years. She loved playing the piano and in her early years she sang in a trio. She had a joy for life and a love for the Lord. Her words to her family were to keep trusting and following Jesus. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, OH at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home.
