Caroline Latoya Walker's Obituary
Caroline Walker, 44, of Huntington, WV, departed this life on Saturday, July 27, 2024. She was born on July 20, 1980, in Chesapeake, VA, to the late Stephanie Josephine Walker Allen. Caroline was a loving and kind person who always enjoyed helping others. She was friendly and had a heart for all that she came in contact with. She was charismatic and kind to everyone. In addition to her mother, Caroline was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joseph Nathaniel Allen and George Madison Dabney; her daughter, Khanah LaShay Walker, and her nephew, Antwain LaShawn Isiah Miller. Caroline received her education in the Cabell County Public School System and later attended Baptist Temple Church. She was employed at YMCA Childcare Center. She is survived by her father, Joseph Anthony Allen; her brother, Joseph La'Curtis Allen; her sister, Courtney Renee Allen; her children, Kiara Lanee Walker, Kionta Jacem Walker, and Khani Lavon Walker; grandmothers, Catherine Allen and Jeanette Walker Dabney; aunts and uncles, Renee Brown-Crosby (James), Regina Brown, Rita Brown, Krista Brown, Greg Griffin, Courtney (Talisha) Dabney, Angela Dabney, Georgette Steele and Paulette (Darrell) Anderson; nieces and nephews, Isaac, Ivyana, and Izrella; special friends, Tasheika "Tree", Jocasta, Jane, Arminta, KaSheka, Royale, Danielle, Melissa, Bobbi Jo and Carrie; godchildren, Jah'Maylah, Ta'Kari, Ameisha, K'Emilie and Kendrick; her furchild, Zeus, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends. Homegoing services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Noon on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Baptist Temple Church, 902 21 Street, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, is assisting the family with arrangements.
