Carolyn "Carol" Clinton Raines' Obituary
Carolyn “Carol” Clinton Raines, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 5th, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on November 23rd, 1943, in Cleveland, OH. she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Raines; parents, Dorothy and Joe Mucek and two sons, Danny Blaylock and John Blaylock. She is survived by three daughters, Sheila (Jared) Burcham of Huntington, WV, Cynthia and Cheryl Dunkhase of Cleveland, OH; one son, Artie Dunkhase of California; three granddaughters, Corey (Duston) Booton whom she raised as her own, Lacey (Isaac) Longfellow, and Courtney Black; special grandson Preston (Mercedes) Cutter who thought no one was better than Mamaw Carol, Tyler Dunkhase and Ryan Dunkhase; several great-grandchildren, cousins, and special lifelong friends. Carol never knew a stranger and always wanted everyone to feel welcome with her smile and silly jokes. She loved her family and most of all, the Lord. She was proud to use her voice to praise and show her love for God. She often spoke of her excitement she felt about walking the streets of gold in heaven. Her excitement is now her reality and well deserved. She will be forever missed and loved by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 10:00 A.M.
