Carolyn Sue Sowards' Obituary
Carolyn Sue Sowards, 86, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away at home on Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born on September 30, 1938, in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Gilbert and Wilma Turner. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband Marvin Sowards; one daughter Tanna (David) Wright; three grandchildren Erin Wright, Jamie (Carrie) Wright Stevens, and Justin Wright; one great grandson Blake Stevens; one sister Drema Bratton; sister-in-law Connie Black; and several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
