Chad Edward Lewis, 41, of Crown City, Ohio, died Saturday October 21, 2017 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV after an unfortunate accident. He was born on August 29, 1976 to Edward and Judy Nicely Lewis of Proctorville, Ohio. He was an amazing father, husband, brother, and friend. He never met a stranger or a person he couldnt make smile. His personality was infectious. He was an avid bass fisherman and loved fishing bass tournaments or any place a pole could find water. He worked at Graley Autobody for over 20 years and was currently employed by The Childrens Center of Ohio. He was also a member of the Elks. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Dawn Gandee Lewis who he adored; his three children who he loved with his whole heart Emily Grace Lewis, 8, Mason Edward Lewis, 5, and Laney Marie Lewis, 3; two stepchildren he loved as his own Morgan Paige Turner, 18, and Blaze Montgomery Perry, 12. He is also survived by two sisters Seka Lewis (Mike) Gregor of Proctorville and Cindy (Dale) Anderson of Vonore, TN; nieces Bonnie, Braelynn, and Haley; nephews Connor and Wyatt. He had countless friends and family who love and will miss him. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hall Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday October 28, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jeff Black. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday October 28, 2017 at the funeral home.
