Charlene McComas' Obituary
Charlene McComas, 90, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Lawrence Co, OH, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Wyngate at Rivers Edge, Proctorville, OH. She was born on August 20, 1934, in Cabell County, WV, to the late Otho and Hazel Roberts Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband George Cletis McComas; brothers Galley, Otho Jr, Gene, and Jack; and sisters Ruth and Lena Mary. She was of the Methodist Faith. She retired from Shopwise Grocery Store. She is survived by one son George Michael McComas; granddaughter Lauren Michelle McComas; grandson Johnathan McComas; one great granddaughter Abby McComas; one sister Hazel Spurlock; one brother Jim (Ann) Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses, and aids at Wyngate and Heartland Hospice. Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Brady Lipscomb officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
