Charles Raymond Bazemore's Obituary
Charles R. "Jerry" Bazemore, 93, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. Born on March 13, 1931, in Huntington, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Georgia Bazemore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Bazemore and sister, Marion Brooke. Jerry served in the Air Force Division of the U.S. Navy and spent a lot of time in Japan. Upon his military discharge, he returned to work at INCO for many years. He left INCO to join the family business at Jabo Supply in Huntington. An avid golfer, Jerry enjoyed taking golfing trips with business associates, friends, and family. He loved Marshall University football games and was a regular attendee. Jerry was a member of New Baptist Church and was retired from Jabo Supply. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ward Bazemore; brother, Jack (Lilly) Bazemore; stepchildren, Kim Fuller, Dee (Mark Holderby) Clarkson, and Troy (Patti) Tackett; grandchildren, Jeremy (Sarah) and Joshua (Jenny) Fuller, Mallory (Konrad Bielecki) Lauren, Clark Littlepage, Kennon (Matt) Ward, Grant Clarkson, Sarah and Seth (Amy) Tackett; nieces, Vicki Lemons, Tracy (Chris) Thompson, and Penny Collins; nephews, Jay (Kesha) Bazemore, Kim Brooke, Tim Brooke, and close friends, Kevin Roach and Patrick Hughes. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastor John Arnold, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park in Huntington, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
