CHARLES G. BENNETT, 87, of Chesapeake, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 30, 2013, in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, October 4, 2013, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. David Richards officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Charles was born June 27, 1926, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Mont Lee and Catherine Bowles Bennett. He was a LPN for 30 plus years and retired from St. Mary's Hospital, was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, and served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. Charles is survived by his sister, Glenna Jean DePascale of Jacksonville, FL; a longtime firend, Jack Ferrell; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH.
