Charles Edward Bevans' Obituary
Charles Edward Bevans, Jr., 85, of South Point, Ohio passed away Saturday March 9, 2024, at home. He was born September 18,1938 in Huntington, WV to the late Charles Edward Bevans Sr. and Marjorie Owens Bevans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Bevans; daughter Deborah Carpenter; and two sisters Donna and Marjorie Ann. He retired from Special Metals and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by two sons Chris Bevans of South Point, Ohio, and Bob (Robin) Bevans of Fort Mill, S.C.; six grandchildren Jeremy (Robbie), Tanner (Kimmy), Chase (Liz), Amber (Nathan), Seth (Jackie), and Abby (D.J.); five great grandchildren Ellie, Quinton, Abel, Taylor, and Lauren; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
