Charles "Buzz" E. McCoy's Obituary
Charles E. “Buzz” McCoy, 88, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away Thursday March 12, 2020 at Arbors at Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born January 6, 1932 to the late Ernest and Nella Crystal Stover McCoy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Louise McCoy; three siblings, John H. McCoy, Sally Woodyard and Carol McCoy. He is survived by one son Charles D. “Danny” (Ruth) McCoy; two grandchildren Aaron Daniel McCoy and Nikki Louise McCoy; and siblings, Ginna Ratcliff and Nancy Jane Carter. He was of Methodist faith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran with the rank of Corporal and served during the Korean War.There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio with Pastor Donnie Carter officiating. Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
