Charles Herbert “Chuck” Hodge, 67, of Crown City, OH, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at St.
Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Born on February 9, 1958, in Huntington, he was the son of the late Herbert and Betty Hodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Beth-Ann McDaniels and Della Ferris; father and mother-in-law, Ace and Stella Perry and Frank McCloud. Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa. He was a retired truck driver and carpet layer. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Wanda Hodge of Crown City, OH; sister, Sherri (Sam Skeens) Short of Chesapeake, OH; brother, Melvin Hodge of Kenova, WV; 3 daughters, Sara Lewis of AR, Dawn (Brandon) Vester of Pleasant View, TN, and Ann (Eddie) Langdon of Huntington, WC; son, John (Bev) of Genoa, WV; grandson that he raised, Jeremy Luther of Crown City, OH; grandkids, Izak (Marah) Luther, Wade (Lexi) Luther, Lynsey Booth, Corey (Kinsey) Booth, Jessica (Bryan) Luther, Shyann (Wayne) Watson, Stella (Kyle) Fowler, James (Kaya) Ferris, and Noah Ferris; great-grandkids, Zoey, Kaiden, Annalee, Annabell, Renesmae, Emmerson, Ryder, and Remington; special nieces that he adores, Kary (Chris) Daniels and Amanda Fox; wonderful cousins, Ronnie (Pat) Hodge of Kenova, WV and James and Lawrence Hodge of Gatlinburg, TN; aunt, Ruth Hodge; and several nieces, nephews, and tons of friends. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, with Pastor James Hodge, officiating.
