Charles Jason Huff's Obituary
Jason Huff, 51, of South Point, OH, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 23, 1974 in Huntington, WV. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dale Huff; maternal grandparents, Vernon and Dorothy Carrico; Uncle Danny Huff and Aunts Kathy Huff Dement and Fern Carrico Rigney.
Survivors include the love of his life, fiancee, Aimee Chiovare; beloved mother, Beverly Carrico Harless; sons, Logan and Justus Huff and Dominic Chiovare; brother, Corey Harless; twin brother and sister, Justin (Allison) Fuller and Kati Fulton and half brother and sister, Abe Huff and Chandra Huff Fredrick. Jason is also survived by his Uncle Greg (Sheila) Huff; Uncle Paul Carrico, Uncle Dallas Carrico and Aunt Charlotte Carrico. He was a very special uncle to and dearly loved his nieces and nephews, Emma, Ava, Paxton, Jack, Jamie, Jake, Jordan, Josie, Maddie, Bailee and Nathanael; cousins, Shawn, Rusty, Matthew, Shalaine, Alyssa, Brandae, Nikki, Beth, Brian, Ben and Mariah; great nieces, Ellie, Stevie and Everleigh, and his loyal, lifelong friend, Travis “BB” Justice.
Jason graduated Chesapeake High School, Class of 1992 and was then able to realize his childhood dream of joining the Army. While serving our country, he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Global War On Terrorism Service Medal. He loved nature and the outdoors and enjoyed country drives and special times camping with his nieces and nephews. 4:20 PM was his favorite time of the day.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Community Chapel Baptist Church, Rt 775, Proctorville, OH. Gathering of friends and visitation will be held one hour prior from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions toward funeral expenses and may be sent to Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, 313 Big Branch Road, Chesapeake, OH 45619.
