Charles Franklin Maynard's Obituary
Charles Franklin Maynard, 60, of Barboursville, WV, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Born on May 9, 1964, in Man, WV, he was the son of the late Bobby G. and Mary M. Redman Maynard. Charles was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Police and was known for his interest in current news events. He loved to tell stories of life lessons, crack jokes, and had a very outgoing personality; people enjoyed being in his presence. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Charles is survived by his wife, Nancy Maynard of Barboursville, WV; his brother, Bobby Maynard of Raleigh, NC; his daughter, Gabrielle Maynard of St. Louis, MO, and his stepdaughter, Amy Borowski of Barboursville, WV. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Barboursville Church of Christ, with Pastor Dave Gladwell, officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 P.M., one hour prior to services. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, is assisting the family.
