Charles Glenwood Pennington's Obituary
Charles "Glen" Pennington, 78, of Proctorville, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born on October 12, 1943, in New Boston, OH, to the late Roscoe and Ginny Pennington. He was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, Proctorville, OH. He is survived by his wife Susan Pennington; three sons Matt (Felecia) Pennington, Vance (Cherity) Pennington, and Dana (Shanna) Cornell; four daughters Ellen (Kelly) Steele, DeeAnna Cornell, Lyndsey Pennington, and Emily (Thomas) Ghee; nine grandchildren Lane Pennington, Ethan (Kristen) Carroll, Austin McKinney, Darren Pennington, Zach Pennington, Katie Pennington, Baylee Cornell, Addyson Cornell, and Sophie Cornell; special sisters and brothers-in-law Joe and Debbie Pemberton and Dana and Susan Browning; and two great grandchildren; his special little buddy Parker; and special little girl Lilly. Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, April 18, 2022, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Tom Belville and Joe Pemberton officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH, with VFW Post #6878 conducting graveside military rites. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
