Charlotte A Walker 1939 - 2016
Charlotte A. Walker, 77, of Willow Wood, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV after a brief illness. She was born March 22, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Rev. Jesse Roland and Martha Louise Tanner. Charlotte was a lifelong member of McDaniel Crossroads Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, William "Pop" Walker and Irene "Susie" Walker. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gene Aurty Walker, Sr; her son Gene Autry Walker, Jr and his wife Cheryl, of Willow Wood, Ohio; her daughter, Deedra Semones, and her husband, Bruce, of Nelsonville, Ohio; grandchildren, Brittney Enneking, Michala Thomas, Victoria Elliott, Alisha Monroe and Eric Criner; one great grandchild Nolan Monroe; and two sisters and one brother-in-law Virginia and Thomas Shepherd of Willow Wood, Ohio and Janice Hively of St. Marys, WV. Funeral service will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, December 10, 2016 at McDaniels Crossroads Church, 2600 Cadmus Road, Patriot, Ohio 45658 with Rev. Mark Crawford and Rev. David Henson officiating. Burial will follow in Hatfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to McDaniel Crossroads Pentecostal Church.
