Chloe Elizabeth Lou Hardy

Today we celebrate the life of Chloe Elizabeth Lou Hardy, whose life was cut too short when she passed away on February 23rd, 2025. She never knew a day without the love of her parents, Melissa and Jimmie Hardy II. Her light shines through her siblings, Jerri, Meghan, Hunter, and Braxton. The love she showed for her nieces and nephews, Liam, Linzie, Cash, Luna, Abbie Jo, and Waverly, will forever live on in our hearts. She will be remembered by her grandparents, Wilmer and Toni Asbury and Jim and Linda Hardy. To say Chloe was a light in our lives is an understatement. Her smile could brighten any room, and her laughter was a melody that filled our hearts with pure joy. A warm smile and a loving embrace, that’s what Chloe was. She would wrap you in her arms and make you feel at home. When a light goes out too soon, we often wonder why? The truth is we will never know. But when we talk about faith, this is what they mean. To trust that God always has a plan. To know in your heart that one day we all will see her again. That’s what faith is, believing in something you can’t see, but know in your heart that it is true. I know that we will all see her one day and this is not the end but a start to a beautiful eternity. We will always remember her smile, like the sunset at the beach, bright and luminous. Though her time with us was too short, the impact she made will forever be etched into our hearts. When we think about Chloe, we think of her love for sports, friends, and family. We think about how she would sit on the phone talking to her friends for hours while listening to music. Her love shined so brightly for her friends. Especially, her favorite cousin, Hallie Adkins, who she danced and laughed the night away with. She was an avid Beta Club member and was so incredibly intelligent. The kindness and caring hands she had knew no bounds. She was our beautiful girl and will be missed beyond measure. The family would like to express their deepest heartfelt gratitude to the community that has pulled together to support them. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hardy Family Cemetery. Following the service, there will be a dinner held at Good Hope Church.
