Is there anything worse than doing an "I wonder where she is now" search and learning that you've missed the chance to reconnect. Christi touched so many lives and I think about her often but I never took much time to dig and search too much further. She was one of my dearest friends when I was in high school and she was a student at Marshall. She'd come to Milwaukee to go to Summerfest and stay with my family, and we had such awesome adventures. Lighting a candle for you tonight, beautiful. I wish I'd had the chance to say more.

Christi, I am at a loss for words. Just last week I thought of you and wonder how you were doing. I had been telling people about how we went out for Chinese and I was turned away for supposedly eating too much...you were at the table laughing your butt off! I have great memories of you and us going to shows and on vacation. I am sorry you left so soon. I LOVE YOU BOO!

I don’t even know where to begin. You were my best friend for as long as I can remember. We were inseparable from 7th grade on. Some of the best times of my life were spent with you..... Concerts, geez countless concerts, hanging out at Gumby’s,, hanging out at Adams, or just hanging out and listening to our favorite bands for hours on end, You made me laugh more than you will ever know. Hell, I still laugh at some of the things we did or things you would say. In my mind, when I look back at some of our pictures, its like time stood still. It seems like it was just yesterday. Even though time has passed, I still considered you the best friend I ever had. I will forever hold on to our memories. You were a beautiful person and you meant the world to me. My heart is so sad and I cannot wrap my arms around what happened. I hope that you are at peace. You once told me that the song for our friendship would always be “Blood on Blood” by Bon Jovi. I never forgot that and will always think of you when I hear it. Fly high my fellow rocker girl! I love you! ??

I just found out this news and my heart is broken. Christi and I were best friends in junior high and spent so much time together whether it be in the classroom cutting up or at each other's homes listening to our favorite rock bands. She would talk to me about the drummer from poison and I would talk to her about my future with Brett Michaels. She was an amazing artist and she would draw me the most amazing portraits of some of those rockers. What a talent. Christi always had a smile for everyone. Somehow she could make those that didn't really want to smile smile. She was a beautiful soul a beautiful person on the inside and out. I love you and I won't forget you babe. Nancy I am praying for you and the family. I am truly so very very sorry.
