Christine Gore's Obituary
Christine Gore, 76, of South Point, Ohio passed away Saturday January 5, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born May 24, 1942 in Logan, WV daughter of the late Parker and Mary Thacker. She was a member of Christ Temple Church, Huntington, WV and retired from Chase Bank in Huntington, WV. She is survived by her husband Simon D. Gore; one son Doug (Lori) Gore of South Point, Ohio; four grandsons Jacob (Leah) Gore, Tyler Nicely, Cole Nicely and Seth Nicely; one great grandson Marshall gore; two sisters Claudetta Anderson of Fairmont, WV and Mary Lois Damron of Myrtle Beach, SC; several nieces and nephews; and very special friends Karen Wood, Julie Freeman and Jackie Booth. Funeral service will be conducted 12 Noon Friday January 11, 2019 at Christ Temple Church, Huntington, WV by Pastor Chuck Lawrence. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital.
