Christopher Allen Brumfield's Obituary
Christopher Allen Brumfield, 59, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on August 14, 2025, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born on January 2, 1966, in Huntington, WV, he was the son of the late Leota Elizabeth Brumfield and his sister, Janie. Chris had a best friend he counted on through life’s journey, Mike Hawthorne. He is also survived by his children, Christopher (Racheal) Brumfield of Milton, WV, Patrick Brumfield of Milton, WV, Leota (Wyatt) Faulkner of Huntington, WV, and Kimberly (Matthew) Duvendeck of South Point, OH; grandchildren, Kieran Duvendeck, Scarlett and Colton Brumfield of Ironton, OH, and Ezra Brumfield of Huntington, WV; and cousins Sue Bell and Ancil Lambert. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday August 30, 2025 at Big Branch Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Ohio.
