Chuck Rood 1927 - 2017 Chuck Rood, 49, of South Point, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at home. He was born July 9, 1968 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother Aretta Rood; maternal grandparents George W. and Nettie Anderson; and paternal grandparents Harry and Jeanette Rood. He is survived by his father Charles Leroy Rood, Sr of South Point, Ohio; one daughter Paige Rood; four sons Kyle, Chase, Brendon and Davon Rood; three sisters Brenda Schroder, Sandra Clay and Charlotte Lowe; two brothers Matt and Jeff Rood; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. #32 Strong. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Clyde Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
