Clara E Lockhart's Obituary
CLARA E. LOCKHART, 89, of Jackson, OH, died Friday, April 15, 2016, in OSU Medical Center. Funeral service will be 1 PM Wednesday April 20, 2016, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Clara was born December 13, 1926, in Lawrence County, OH, a daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Keeney Leffingwell. She worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Nina Jean Van Brunt and Patricia Ann Sanders; two brothers, Ray and Frank Leffingwell; and three sisters, Lena Null, Crystal Duncan, and Edna Lilly. Clara is survived by three sons, Ronnie D. Lockhart of Richmond, VA, John W. Lockhart of Jackson, OH, and Daniel L. Lockhart of Collinsville, OK; two sons-in-law, Richard Van Brunt and Mike Sanders; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Keith Leffingwell; and two sisters, Betty Thacker and Ruth Mattox.
