CLAUDIA J. ADKINS, 60, of Chesapeake, OH, died Friday, December 14, 2012, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Bishop Tony Aiken officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Claudia was born November 13, 1952, a daughter of Irene Faye Chinn Burns and the late Jackie Lee Burns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Adkins; her son, Russell Adkins, Jr.; and her siblings, Jackie Lee Burns, Jr., and Lucretia "Sis" Apel. Claudia is survived by four children, Jackie and her husband, Mike, Curtis, Randy, and Gary; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, Marty and William Burns. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to help with expenses.
