Cleda June Miller Blazer's Obituary
Cleda June Miller Blazer, 91, of Proctorville, OH, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Born on March 12, 1934, near Athalia, OH, she was the daughter of the late Harry G. “Pete” and Mamie Ramey Miller. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love, laughter, and perseverance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Blazer and her daughter, Jennifer Blazer Brooks. She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Blazer Dishman; son-in-law, Ronnie Brooks; granddaughter, Meridith Kiyosue (Teppei Kiyosue), and the apple of her eye, her great grandson, Ren Kiyosue. In times of good health, she attended Forest Glen Church. She worked for more than 20 years in the law office of Attorney Richard Vital in Barboursville, West Virginia. The pride she had for her hometown of Athalia was evident in the many stories of family, friends, and history she shared of her 9 decades of life in or near her beloved little Ohio River town. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Ervin Napier, officiating. A Memorial gathering will be held one hour prior to services from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
