Colin Johnson Jr's Obituary
COLIN JOHNSON, JR, 85, of South Point, OH, died Thursday, June 06, 2013, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in McSweeney Family Cemtery. Colin was born November 2, 1927, in Goodwill, WV, a son of the late Colin and Ina Tanner Murray Johnson. He was a retired Finance Officer for Commercial Credit and a US Navy veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great grandson, Jacob Bryan Thacker. Colin is survived by his two daughters and their spouses, Patsy Lynn and Joe McSweeney, and Kimberly and Harold "Bob" Collins; three grandchildren, Stacey Anne (Jon) Thacker, Colin Dwayne McSweeney, and Joshua Aaron Collins and his companion, Erin Adkins; one great grandson, Wyatt Joseph Thacker; one sister, Sue Adams; two brothers, Vester and Wilford Johnson; his spouse of 52 years and mother of his children, Mary Alice "Ricki" Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM Saturday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.schneidergriffin.com.
