Collin Kelly Brand's Obituary
Collin K. Brand, of Huntington, WV, was born in Washington, D.C. on January 24, 1981. He died suddenly on December 28, 2023, in Huntington, WV, where he was residing. There is no immediate cause of death, but speculation is he died of a fatal heart attack. He graduated from Preston High School in 1999 in Kingwood, WV, and the Diesel Mechanic Institute in 2002. He was the son of Melana Brand and adopted by Thomas H. Brand, Jr. in 1985. He is survived by one sister, Maira Waybright of Bruceton Mills, WV; a stepbrother, Tom Brand, III of Charleston, SC, and a stepsister, Shonnet Brand of Charlottesville, VA. Also surviving is one son, Briar Kelly Brand,10, and a daughter, Sadee Wolfe,6, of Tunnelton, WV. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vane and Joan Bush, and Tom and Syreta Brand. We know Collin, who was recently saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, is now in the loving arms of his "Me Maw" Bush. After struggling for most of his life with a monkey on his back, he is finally at peace. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
