Connie S. Adkins' Obituary
Connie S. Adkins, 58, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord after a long, courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at home. She was born on December 12, 1966, in Huntington, WV, to the late Arvin and Mary Christian Odell. She was also preceded in death by her nephew Zach Dunn; one brother-in-law Stephen Misner; one sister-in-law LuAnn Scarberry; and grandson Michael Allen Myrl Adkins. She was an employee of Walmart in Huntington, WV. She is survived by her husband Myrl Adkins; three daughters Jennilee Chatterton, Amanda Adkins, and Ashley Swain (Joe); one son Jeffrey Adkins; twenty-five grandchildren; sister Tammy Hoke (Frank); two brothers Arvin Colegrove Jr and Greg Colegrove (Patti); and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor B.J. Wiley officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
