Connie Lou Miller's Obituary
Connie Lou Miller, 76, of Chesapeake, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, Wv. She was born November 16, 1948, in Hamlin, Wv to the late Dorsey and Jewel Miller. Connie was preceded in death by her Beloved husband Robert Miller and sister Lana Barnes. Connie was a devout Christian and long-time member of First Baptist Church of Proctorville, Oh. Connie was very active in the church, working with and leading young ones to Jesus. She was involved in Child Evangelism, Visitation, Vacation Bible School, Church Camp, and Children’s Church with her Late husband Robert (Bob) Miller and they were known to all as Uncle Bob and Aunt Connie. Connie loved the children and had a passion to teach all about Jesus Christ. Connies favorite Passage from the Bible is Psalm 23 and lived her life accordingly. Connies faith was not just a part of her life; it was the foundation for her being. Her Bible, being worn from years of love and study, a constant reminder of her devotion. Her legacy is written in the hearts of all of us here. Connie showed us what it means to live a life of purpose, not for worldly gains, but for the greater glory of God. Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Daniel Miller (Lynn), and Matthew Miller (Judy); twin daughters, Mindy Combs (Patrick), Monica Napier (Tony); six grandchildren, Thomas, Robbie, Michael, Sophia, Brice, Olivia; three great grandchildren and many others that called her MeMe; four sisters, Naomi Pauley, Pam Gaylor (Bob), Joan Kiser (Gary), Jayne Woods (Keith); two brothers, Ricky and Terry Miller. There will be a Funeral service held at 11AM on Friday October 24, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Oh. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Oh. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday also at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
