Gene was a true friend to me and I'd like to think I returned the favor. So many memories of lunches, talks about family, faith, and just everyday things. How I will miss him dearly. He suffered for so long and it was hard to see him go through that day in and day out. He loved his family and would be the first to try and help out a friend. I remember when I had a horrible reaction to a COVID shot, he drove me to meet my mom and made sure I was OK. His friendship was something I'll always cherish and his guidance and opinions were things I always valued. May God wrap you all with His love and comfort during this time and the months and years to come. Love Billie Jo
