Craig Braden Reynolds' Obituary
Craig Braden Reynolds, 65, of Lucasville, OH, passed away to be with his Father, Jesus Christ, on Monday, June 9, 2025, at SOMC in Portsmouth, OH. Born on January 16, 1960, in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Brenton W. and Doris J. Archer Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Brent Reynolds, Sherri Nicholas, and Robin Reynolds. Craig was a top student athlete in both high school and college. While attending Arlington High School in Poughkeepsie NY, he was given the Top Athlete Honor Student Award in his class. He was also the NYS Champion and record holder at the time for both the discus and hammer throw, and he was nominated for All State Honors in football, playing Linebacker. Craig received a full scholarship for track and field at Akron University where he set the school record for throwing the discus. After graduating from college with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he pursued a career with Goodyear Aerospace in Akron, Ohio. Craig is survived by his brother, Derek Reynolds; sister-in-law, Jillian Reynolds; nieces, Shannon T. Hilmon, Tracy Lester, and nephews, Shawn T. Reynolds, Spencer B. Reynolds, Christopher Stodard, and Tom Lotze. A Celebration of Craig’s life will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Trinity Church of God in Huntington, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church, 11:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
