Daisy Christine Maynard 1936 - 2016
Daisy Christine Maynard, 80, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born February 22, 1936 in Huntington, WV to the late Wilburn (Hank) Bowen and Zena Penley (Thompson). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Verna L. Esque and son Ronald E. Esque, two brothers Garrett and Charles Bowen of Huntington, WV, and one sister Violet M. Hysell of Milton, WV. Survivors include her husband of almost 40 years Kenneth D. Maynard, a sister Ester (Jenny) Blake of Huntington, WV, two daughters Alease (Robert) Blake of Huntington, WV and Veronica (Rob) Rogers of Huntington, WV, two sons Raymond (Drema) Ferrell of Chesapeake, Ohio and Michael (Veronica) Keesee of Huntington, WV, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren. She also had an amazing person whom she loved with all her heart, Terri Cooper. She was a Special Angel that God sent to take care of her, and the family would like to say a special “Thank You.” Services will be conducted Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 11 am at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Rev. Harry Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Blue Sulphur Cemetery, Ona,WV. Friends and family may express their condolences beginning at 10 am before the service.
