Dallas Junior Deal's Obituary
Dallas Junior Deal, 75, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Born on March 18, 1949, and raised in Mason County, WV, he was the son of the late Elmer "Jum" and Opal Adkins Deal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Janice "Jenny" and Jeff Holley; niece, Carolyn Holley; 2 grandkids, Kayden and Hudson Clay, and his 3 little dogs, Precious, Penny, and Prissy. Dallas is survived by his wife, Margie Deal, married 28 years but were friends and co-workers for 20 years prior; his son, Timmy (Jenni); stepchildren, Christa (Mike), Andrea (Crystal), David (Candi), and Katelyn (Nicci); grandchildren, Kerry (Jay Tee), Chris (Danielle), Gregory (Madison), Jimmie (Steven), Codey (Raven), Justin (Will), Bryan, Caleb, Cheyanne (William), and Halee; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Arianna, Jordan, Riley, Hunter, Amara, Athena, Aries, Elijah, Gracelyn, and Brooklyn; several special nieces and a nephew, Dian (Billy), Angie (Mike), Brenda (Mike), and Jeffrey (Amy), as well as great-nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends. Dallas worked for S.S. Logan Meat Packing Company for 45 years where he retired. He loved working outdoors and restoring old vehicles as a hobby, going to the flea markets, going on vacation, listening to bluegrass and country music, and watching old westerns and WWE wrestling. Dallas was loved and will be missed. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dallas' honor to the Alzheimer's Association or Parkinson's Foundation of WV, or to a local animal shelter.
