Dannie Dale Ellis, 84, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on January 1, 2026. Born on July 2, 1941, in Ironton, OH, he was the son of the late Ottie and Ida MacDaniel Ellis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mack Ellis and grandson, Michael Ellis, Dannie loved to sing karaoke and watch sports. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and loved his dog, Rambo. Dannie is survived by his children, Dale Ellis, Troy Ellis, Tammy Miller, Joyce Root, Jayna Ellis, Amy Ellis, Zachary Ellis, Raychelle Wright and Kelly Wright; grandchildren, Dale Ellis II, Bridget Ellis, Rodney Ellis, Angel Robinson, Stacey Allen, Donnie Cornell, James Gard, Joseph Hill, Lexi Hoke, Tiffany Turner, Crystal Powers; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Joshua Ellis, Gunner Hoke, Douglas Robinson, Bailey and Dalton, Alexandria and Riley, and Josh, Adele, Thomas and Damon, Emily Powers, Tucker Kassidy, and Reece Turner.
