Danny E. Short, 49, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at home. He was born February 7, 1975, in Gallipolis, Ohio son of the late Curtis and Florence (Phillips) Short from Crown City, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Becky Short; stepson Brandon Walters; two sisters, Tonya (Robert) Donnelly of Florida and Vicki Salmons of Chesapeake, Ohio; four nieces, Bethany Ireland, Karlie (Tyler) King, Brooke Salmons and Nevaeh Donnelly; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends, Cheryl Schneider, and Jimmy Pine. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2024, at New Beginnings Worship Center, 3707 State Route 7, Chesapeake, Ohio with Pastor Tom Jones officiating.
