Danny Roger Smith's Obituary
Danny Roger Smith, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away January 17, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born February 27, 1946 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Ronald and Cleo Smith. Danny is survived by three beloved children, Chris Smith of Willow Wood, Ohio, Brooke Smith of Winston –Salem, NC and Lori Smith of Ironton, Ohio; five cherished grandchildren Whitney (Drew) Hutchison, Tyler (Hayley) Smith, Tessa Smith, Jacob Maynard, and Tristan Maynard; eight great grandchildren, Grace, Noah, Ben, Josh, and Caroline Hutchison and Waylon, Haven, and Chloe Williamson; one brother Duane Smith and one sister Carol Huxham; one very special person, Charlotte Burchell; and two very good friends David Crawford and David Lambert. Danny was of the Baptist faith and he was an employee of Big Bear Stores for 37 ½ years and a security guard at St. Mary’s Medical Center for the past several years. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday 20, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. Condolences may be expressed at ehallfuneralhome.com
