Daren loved all of his nieces, nephews and cousins. He always wanted them to feel loved and special. Daren was a Christian. He was also a big Kentucky Wildcat Fan, and he loved getting his grandson Joey Kentucky outfits. He also loved playing the harmonica for Joey too. Daren loved animals, and his current animals will continue to enjoy the rest of their lives with his daughter Megan and Grandson Joey. He had a love for fishing and golfing. He would share those activities with some of his best friends. The friends that Daren made were not just friends but family, and he loved them. He was proud of his friends and all of their accomplishments. He was in the United States Navy, and he was a member of the VFW Post 6878. He was also a member of the Elks and worked for Ashland Oil until he was able to retire.
Special thanks to Jade at KDMC for being such a compassionate nurse and caring for not just Daren but his daughter Megan as well.
