Darla Ramsey's Obituary
Darla Ramsey, 79, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 09, 2026. Born on November 18, 1946, Darla was a devoted mother, grandmother, and a steadfast believer in Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H Ramsey of Huntington, WV, her brothers; Michael A. Knight of Huntington, WV, Steven M. Knight of Huntington WV and her parents Russell and Dorothy Knight also of Huntington, WV.
As a dedicated medical office manager, Darla spent many years serving her community in Huntington, where she was well-respected and loved by her colleagues and patients alike.
Darla is survived by her son, Michael Ramsey, her favorite DIL Jessica “her Jessie” Ramsey; her daughter, Marla Ramey; and her cherished son-in-law, Tim Ramey. Also survived by her brother Martin “Marty” Knight and his wife Belinda.
She took immense joy in her grandchildren: Karrie, Kayleigh, Claire, Katie, Craig, Russell, and Nick, who were the light of her life.
Darla will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, OH. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at https://ehallfuneralhome.com.
