David Browning 1954 - 2017
David Browning, 62, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born November 22, 1954 in Logan, WV. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Browning and his son Dwaine Combs. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Gallipolis, Ohio with 31 years of service. He was a member of McDonald’s Club with Junior Sullivan, Danny and Donnie Stanley, Junior Bragg and Bo Scarberry; and a host of many other special friends. He is survived by his mother Freda Adams Chapman; one son John (Lisa) Browning of Lancaster, Ohio; special friend Kathy Browning; three grandchildren Jessica, Justin and Cody; two great grandchildren Olivia and Klayton; two sisters Debbie (Joe) Pemberton and Susie (Glen) Pennington; one brother Dana (Susan) Browning; and nieces and nephews Amy, Joey, Velvet, Jessi, Ellen, Dana, and Dee Anna. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor James Kessick officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the funeral home.
