David A. Childers, 66, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Sunday December 7, 2025 at SOMC Hospice Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born September 15, 1959 in Huntington, WV to the late Lawrence Junior an Mary Halleck Childers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Dale Childers. He is survived by his sister Sheila Childers; sister-in-law Barbara Childers; nephew Kevin Dale Childers; and special friends Gill and Bunnie Spurlock Tim and Tonya Leighty, and Willie Walters. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday December 14, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 o 8 p.m. Saturday December 13, 2025 at the funeral home.
