David H. "Bobo" Dempsey's Obituary
David H. “Bobo” Dempsey, 56, of Jackson, OH, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Coumbus, OH. Born on October 27, 1968, in Lorain, OH, he was the son of the late Howard and Elsie Mae Mann Dempsey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Dempsey. Bobo was a lifelong member of Windsor Independent Church in Proctorville, OH. He loved everyone and always had a smile on his face. Bobo is survived by his brother, Ken (Heather) Dempsey of Ironton, OH; nieces, Mandi (Jessica) Dempsey, Sarah (Evan) Dempsey, and Lucy Dempsey; nephew, Randy (Kam) Steele; great-niece, Addy Steele; great-nephew, Zeke Steele; aunts, Charlotte Walters and Brooke Campbell, and a host of cousins and other family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Harold Hamlin, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville.
