David Alan Dishman's Obituary
David Alan Dishman - age 60 of Lenoir City, Tennessee formerly of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 10, 2021. David served in the United States Army and was a long-haul truck driver most of his life, building a community of friends wherever he went. He loved classic cars and was an avid participant in car shows and cruise-ins where he showed his long, white 58 Caddy. He was preceded in death by his father, Thurman Dishman and stepfather Reno Roswall. David is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Meridith and Teppei Kiyosue; grandson, Ren Kiyosue; mother, Virginia Roswall; sister, Jenny Roswall, brothers, Gary Roswall and Reno Douglas Roswall; mother of his daughter, Melanie Dishman along with several nieces and nephews. Daves family expanded during his life to include friends who quickly became kin. He is also survived by his trucker family, car show family and his loving neighbors of Wamplers Park, including his loving caregiver, Jean. Dave asked for parties in his honor rather than a funeral, and for friends and family to gather in his memory with cars, good food, and Doo Wop music. He asked for donations to be made to St Judes or your local Ronald McDonald house. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Old Miller Cemetery, Miller, Ohio with Todd Newman and Jason Chapman officiating.
