David Joe Ferris' Obituary
David Joe Ferris, 65, of Scottown, OH, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in Arbors at Gallipolis in Gallipolis, OH. He was born April 22, 1960 in Huntington, WV to the late Russell and Lottie Walters Ferris. He is survived by one daughter Amy Dement (John Nunley); four grandchildren; four sisters Margaret Ferris, Kathy Knight, Shana White, and Brenda Combs; and four brothers Larry Ferris, Russell Lee Ferris, Tony Ray Ferris, and Johnny Ferris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Ferris, and Donald Ray Dement. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2025, at Good Hope Cemetery in Crown City, OH. A visitation will be held Friday, from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH.
